What to Expect From Scar Treatment
Your first visit is a consultation, where we examine your scar, review your history, and recommend a plan. A topical numbing cream is applied before each session.
After treatment, the area will be red and may flake for several days. Most scars respond best to a series of treatments spaced several weeks apart, with gradual improvement after each session.
Is Laser Scar Treatment Right for You?
Laser treatment may be a good fit if you have a healed scar you'd like to look softer, flatter, or more even in color. Keloid scars need special evaluation, and laser isn't the right choice for every keloid. Treatment may not be recommended during pregnancy or with active skin infections.
